Terms of Use
Terms for using Fretuodle, the daily fretboard game and learning library from Catloaf Software, Inc.
The service
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Fretuodle website, daily challenges, practice games and learning library, operated by Catloaf Software, Inc. Read them before using the service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. The service is intended for general music learners. Fretuoso mobile apps are separate products with their own terms. Fretuodle is a practice tool; it does not promise a particular learning result.
Using The Fretuodle
You may use the service for personal, educational, classroom and commercial purposes under these terms. You may share result links created by The Fretuodle. Follow applicable laws. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of its software, artwork or trademarks.
Responsible use
Do not interfere with security or availability, try to access private operator systems, or use automation to overload or abuse the service. Do not remove ownership notices or reverse engineer the service except where the law permits it.
Progress, sharing and privacy
Game progress and preferences are stored in your browser and can be lost when you clear browser data. Result links are public to anyone who has them. Browser reminders are optional. The Privacy Policy explains browser storage, gameplay data, usage measurement and browser diagnostics, shared results and reminders. For young learners, parents and teachers should review the policy before enabling reminders or sharing results. Browser notification permission is not verified parental consent.
Feedback
If you send suggestions or bug reports, you grant Catloaf Software a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve its products and services. Do not send unlawful, harmful or infringing material through support channels.
Software and artwork
The service’s software, design, artwork and trademarks belong to Catloaf Software, Inc. or its licensors. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. Fretuoso is a registered trademark of Catloaf Software, Inc.
Availability and changes
We may update features or suspend access for maintenance, security, legal compliance or misuse. You may stop using the service at any time. Where the law allows, the service is provided as is and as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Responsibility and your rights
Where the law allows, Catloaf Software excludes responsibility for indirect losses, including lost profits or data, arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude liability, remedies or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Questions and disputes
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem informally. Wyoming law governs these terms, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Wyoming courts, unless applicable law requires another law or allows you to bring a claim elsewhere. Your mandatory legal rights are preserved.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and accompanied by any notice required by law. Review the updated terms before continuing to use the service. If you do not agree to the updated terms, stop using the service. Where the law requires additional agreement, we will obtain it before applying those changes.
